Fuzzy Little Caterpillars

I remember the first time I saw you Those innocent days when my affinity blossomed Like a meadow of dandelions Scattered so far and wide
For the whole world to see Fuzzy little caterpillars roamed my insides Hindering my speech Adrenaline pulsated through my veins
Every thought that streamed Through my conscious mind was
Somehow laced with you I was amazed by your beauty Mesmerized by the splendor in your eyes
It seems so long ago Since the last time I— Melted when your hand
Would slightly graze my skin Caramel swirled in Dark

Soft. Sensual. And subtly sexy. This piece is meant to be spoken gracefully and with patience. Inspired by a certain someone who has become my recent muse. This piece is something everyone can relate-that nervous, anxious feeling you get when you rekindle a past lust or proclivity-but expressed through simplicity. Hope you enjoy

The ActIt’s dark outside.
I make myself a cup of tea and link my fingers around its warmth, feeling the aching chill of the winter evening recede, and sensation return in a rush of prickles. The wind mutters and snarls to itself beyond the walls of the house and I listen to its shuddering exhalation for a few moments, my eyes on the staircase leading upwards. My lips move in silent words, rehearsing, practising, piecing together each sentence as carefully as a master jeweller shaping molten gold into an expression of love. I dare not speak them aloud.
I don’t want her to hear.

In the four months that I was completely idle on deviantart, I have accumulated a little less than a thousand deviations from all of you guys @.@ I don't want to torture myself by going through all these deviations, not saying that they are not worth the effort. BUT it would be so time consuming, time that I really don't have much of now that my semester has started.

So I'm asking you guys to please send me any work (or list the titles on this page) that you would like to be commented on or critiqued. Otherwise I will be deleting my deviantion inbox and starting all over.

Hey!

If you really like reading poetry, especially stuff like my "Danger Open Water," you should really look at some of the Canadian poetry, such as Earl Burney or (and this is my biggest recommendation) Al Purdy (I'd look up "At the Quinte Hotel" by him, it's my favourite!)

Also, if you want to do a collab with myself, since I do photography as well as poetry, send me a message!
