Wasup DA watchers? (please read)

April, so far, has been a VERY stressful month for me. I've been writing poetry here and there but nothing that I find worthy enough to post for you all to see. The semester is coming to an end and I have to worry about finals. I've spent the last week talking as much as I can in Italian and I'm anticipating my English 215 timed writing on all the literature that I have read for the past 16 weeks and on top of that I have a research paper due in a week... and the icing on this delectable cake is packing everything to move back to Alexandria, Va. So needless to say, my activity on DevArt will be much much less. I still have a collaboration that I would like to finish up, but unfortunately I won't be able to get to that any time soon until I settle back at home in May.

But the one poem that I did post this month, "Vomit," has gotten so little attention. Only two people out of the 20+ people that watch me has left a comment. The hardest thing for me to do was to post this poem since it is so personal and dear to me. And the one reason that I have a DevArt account is to gain feedback so I can better perfect my skills at writing. "Garden of Eve," is another poem that I was hoping to get some type of feedback, but once again only a couple actually commented. I have gotten really fantastic comments and critiques from people on my other works and I really appreciate it. But wasup you guys? I really do depend on you all for critiques and any comments really. Just please keep it up for me.

Thank you,

Luecretia

I'm an aspiring novelist and an emotional poetess. Writing is my first passion <3 If you come across my gallery please leave a comment. My main goal here on DevArt is to perfect my craft and the only way I can do that is through comments and criticism. Thanks!

how can loving you make me feel so alive
and yet, with the same love, i die every night?
Hey!

If you really like reading poetry, especially stuff like my "Danger Open Water," you should really look at some of the Canadian poetry, such as Earl Burney or (and this is my biggest recommendation) Al Purdy (I'd look up "At the Quinte Hotel" by him, it's my favourite!)

Also, if you want to do a collab with myself, since I do photography as well as poetry, send me a message!

Ciao for now!

Writing is not just something you want to do... its something that consumes you, and forces you to either give it up or face poverty and madness.
Thanks for the favorite! I’d love it if you’d check out the rest of my gallery, if you’d be so kind.
Thank you and have a great day!
